Sofia Vergara is celebrating her birthday with a dreamy beach holiday.

The Modern Family actress has been in Italy with friends, celebrating ahead of her 51st birthday today. She has been documenting the trip on Instagram, sharing photos of her romantic dinner looks, day dresses, and swimwear.

Two idyllic snaps show her posing in front of a balcony with an ocean view, wearing nothing but a neon-green one-piece swimsuit. Her hair is down in relaxed waves and she wears bronzy makeup, including a maroon lip, and a white manicure. She holds onto the doors of the balcony as boats are seen sailing behind her.

On another occasion, Vergara stepped out to dinner looking incredible in a white halter dress with a vibrant floral print in reds, blues, and greens.

For a day out, she wore a strapless bright red dress, also with a floral print, featuring a sweetheart neckline. And days prior, she stepped out in a sunny yellow sundress, which she paired with a woven raffia shoulder bag from Yves Saint Laurent.

Apart from her vacation looks, Vergara has also shared photos and videos of her holiday activities, which, in true Italian style, have included spending time on a yacht, eating delicious food, and drinking wine with her friends.
